Developing a minor in Climate Change and Sustainability Policy will offer students the necessary knowledge, skills and attributes to tackle the challenges of climate change and turn them able to act as agents of change locally and globally.
Choosing a minor combined with a major degree it gives students the opportunity to pursue a second area of interest that can open significant career opportunities, besides building knowledge and skills in an area that fulfills their personal interests.
The interdisciplinary CLIMASP courses will consist of core courses, elective courses, and the required capstone course in the three concentration areas, namely:
1. Climate Change, Environment and Society
2. Climate Change, Economics and Public Policy
3. Climate Change, Science and Technology
The number of courses to be taken by undergraduate students, including the capstone course to qualify for the CLIMASP minor are weighted 60 ECTS. Students will be provided a formal credential through transcript documentation (Euro-Arabpass) adapting the Europass diploma to certify that they have developed leadership in the field of climate change and sustainability policy.
